Justin Drew Bieber was born March 1st 1994 in Stratford, Canada and raised by his single Mother, Pattie Mallette. JB taught himself to play piano, guitar, trumpet and drums. He entered his first local singing competition at the age of 12 and came second. Late 2007 was when Justin started posting video’s on Youtube so his friends and family could see his performances, when Scooter Braun, now JB’s manager discovered him! JB was then flown to Atlanta in Georgia to talk to Usher and eventually signed a record deal with Island Records ( Usher’s recording company! )
Since then JB has released the first part of his two part album ‘My World’ (Nov 17 2009) that includes hits such as ‘One Time’, ‘One Less Lonely Girl’, ‘Love me’ and ‘Favourite Girl’ . Which were top 15 hits on the Canadian Hot 100 and Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 11, making JB the only artist in Billboard history to have four singles from a debut album in the Top 40 and Hot 100 before the album was actually released! My World sold 137,000 copies in it’s first week alone! Just one Month after it’s release ‘My World’ was certified Platinum in Cananda and a couple of months later after selling over one million copies it was certified Platinum in the USA. That wasn’t it though! In the UK the Album was certified as Silver! Fan’s have more to look forward to with My World part 2, released in March 2010, featuring popular song ‘Baby’
